Walkthrough of the New Editor

Add Title

Step 1 - Click on the Title text.

Step 2 - Write a catchy title. For example: How to use linear regression for classification?

Add text in the body

Step 1 - Click on the plus sign and give your body a heading.

Note: You can change the heading size to only H2 and H4. By default the heading size is H2.

Step 3 - Change the Heading size to H4 if required.

Add image

Step 1 - Click on the plus sign and upload image from your device.

Step 2: Provide the caption/source of the image.

Note:

Image size - 600 * 300 pixels
Format - JPEG and .PNG

Add Video

Only Step - Copy the youtube/any other platform url and paste it in the editor.

Add list

Step 1 - Click on the plus sign and list from your device.

Step 2 - Click on 6 dots button and select the style of order you want.

Add code snippets

Step 1 - Click on the plus sign and code from your device.

Step 2 - Write your code

Add Table

Step 1 - Click on the plus sign and table from your device.

Step 2 - Add columns and row using the plus sign

Note: You can add or remove headings from the editor itself by clicking on the 6 dots.

Add Quote

Step 1 - Click on the plus sign and quote from your device.

Note: Adding authors name is mandatory

Basic Formatting

Bold

Step 1 - Select the text you want to format

Step 2 - Open the text toolbar and click the B button to apply the formatting.

Italics

Step 1 - Select the text you want to format

Step 2 - Open the text toolbar and click the i button to apply the formatting.

Internal Links

Step 1 - Select the text you want to hyperlink.

Step 2 - Open the text toolbar and click the chain icon 🔗.

Step 3 - Hyperlink the selected text, paste or type in a link (e.g., analyticsvidhya.com), and press enter.

How to transfer your article from the old editor to the new editor

Step 1 - Select the click here link shown on the new editor platform.

Step 2 - The old editor platform opens up.

Step 3 - Copy the text from the old editor and paste it in the new editor. Make sure you attach the images/code snippets/video/quotes, etc items present in your article.
